FLOW...Do Better!

I was home 2 nights ago and decided to catch up on my pre-recorded shows using Flow's AVS (that system that allows me to record shows in case it wasn't clear). And it wasn't a smooth. It kept stopping and taking forever to load. I lost my patience. For some time, I've wanted to write a letter and so I finally did. Thanks to the Editor for posting it (though a few things were left out).

Building in New Territory for 2023 and Beyond

Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. Season of Building Relationships

It is not good for man to be alone . In the Genesis 2 account of the creation story, God made man (Adam) and soon thereafter said he aught not be alone. Eve was created thereafter. It's an intimate relationship in its purest form, and that's what God intended - for man and God to be walking together, enjoying paradise. That lasted...until it didn't. The principle and the human desire and need for relationships, however, continued into perpetuity. And this is what this season is about. Prior to the end of 2017, I knew it was time to seek God's guidance on what I needed to focus on. For a moment I thought it would be hard to come by, but that was not the case. It came to be so clearly that what I needed to work on was relationships. Letting Go

There are many "things" in life that we grow attached to. People. Habits. Money. Ideas. Jobs. Comfort. TV shows. Gadgets...the list goes on. This attachment is likely to have been born out of a need or perhaps circumstance or simply a desire. They serve a purpose in our lives...otherwise, the strings and connections would not last. Life being as dynamic as it is means that there will come a time when we have to cut some of our connections. We have to detach from elements in our lives which have run their course or have become weights pulling us down into a valley...or simply to grow. And so we must let go. In order to do so, we must: 1) Evaluate - Knowing where we are in life and where we are going is the only way to know if our lives are on-track.
